About Us
Somewhere nice to stay
Hamlet Downs offers
guests beautifully restored 4 Star accommodation in private suites. There
are no shared internal facilities as guests enjoy their own individual
lounge/dining rooms and entrances.
Hamlet Downs is nestled in Tasmania’s picture perfect Derwent Valley. Beautiful cottage garden favourites intermingled
with natives surrounds the cottage. These melt into a sprawling
vegetable patch, which in turn leads to an orchard and a series of water
ponds and developing water gardens. There is a walking track along our creek and
around extensive ponds where our resident platypus, bird life and other wildlife are often seen.
Hamlet Downs is a no smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted outside of the
building.
