Somewhere nice to stay

Hamlet Downs offers guests high quality 4 Star accommodation in private suites. 

We are located on 36 acres in a rural setting with beautiful gardens, walks around several ponds, pastures, historic buildings from the hop growing era and wild bush.

Activities on the property include walks, bird watching, look for the elusive platypus, nocturnal wildlife tours or just relaxing. Kids are welcomed to feed the farm animals or pick seasonal fruit and vegetables under our supervision.

Hamlet Downs is a no smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted outside of the building.

We also offer FREE WiFi access (subject to upload/download limit).

Accommodation Details

 
Each group enjoys their own private unit with separate entrance, bathroom, lounge and dinning areas for each suite. For large groups units may be interconnected.
 
1. The Hamlet Unit can accommodate up to 5 persons.

Any vacant room in this unit is closed so that the group enjoys a private stay. It comprises:
  
2 bedrooms:
* One with Queen sized bed
* The other with 2 single beds An extra single bed may be provided for a 3rd person.

There is a bathroom, a lounge area with TV and games table, dining area and outside verandah areas. It also has a free standing wood fired heater - great for those brisk mornings! A kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave oven and electric stove/oven is also provided in this unit allowing the option of preparing your own meals. Cutlery, crockery and pots & pans are provided.
 

2. The second unit is the Queen Suite

This suite has a bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom. It also has a separate dining/lounge room with limited kitchen facilities that is, bar fridge, kettle, microwave oven and toaster. It has views to the garden.

2. The third separate unit is the King Room Suite:

It has a King sized bed (or 2 extra long singles) with ensuite (shower over 3/4 bathtub). The room is air-conditioned as well as having opening windows. The room also has a foldout sofa and its own attached sunny dining and lounge area as well as its own entrance. It has great views of the gardens, fields and ponds.  

The King room may accommodate up to 4 persons. It also has cooking facilities with twin cook-top, small baking/pizza oven, a microwave oven, kettle, full size fridge & toaster in its kitchenette.  Cutlery, crockery and pots & pans are provided.
 

Facilities Provided

All suites are heated and provided with tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, micro-wave oven, linen, kettle, toaster, minibar and DVD player. A cot and high chair are available ( fee for cot & both subject to availability). We also offer FREE WiFi access (subject to upload/download limit).
